Payment Policies
Tuition is divided into 10 equal, monthly payments. Payments are due on the first class of each month. There is no late fee assessed until after the 10th of the month. Please make checks payable to Triple Essence Dance Studio and write your child’s full name on the memo line of your check. If you make a payment late, please include your late fee to avoid being billed. Online payment options also available. No credit is given for student absences. If you change your class, add/drop a class or have any questions concerning your monthly tuition, please contact the studio.

Recital/Costume Fee
A recital fee (non-refundable per student) is due in September. The recital fee helps to cover the cost of production, rehearsals & insuring our dancers for show. This fee is in efforts of keeping our ticket prices stable. With this fee you will also receive a recital t-shirt for your dancer and a professional video of our year end recital.  A costume deposit for each class is due in October. Costumes will not be ordered unless deposits are submitted.

1 class weekly: $75 per month (pays for 4 classes per month)
2 classes weekly: $135 per month (pays for 8 classes per month)
3 classes weekly: $200 per month (pays for 12 classes per month)

Sibling Discount
First child (taking the most classes) = Full price. 10% off siblings.
Sibling taking 1-recreational class weekly: $67
Sibling taking 2-recreational classes weekly: $121
Sibling taking 3-recreational classes weekly: $180

Trial Classes
Trial classes are $20.00 per student. The $20.00 class fee will be applied to that student’s registration fee only if the student registers the same day the trial class is taken.

Dress Code
Triple Essence logo dancewear/uniforms may be purchased for your convenience through our online shop. Teachers will discuss required footwear based on what class your dancer is taking. All students must attend class in proper dance attire. No street clothes, jeans or jewelry. Hair must be secured back away from face.
 

Dance Etiquette & Behavior
Dance class is educational and fun, however, an important part of class work is developing an attitude of discipline and respect for teachers and fellow students. We trust that following our classroom etiquette will provide an environment whereby classes at TEDS will be a pleasure for all concerned. If any problems occur, parents will be contacted & a solution will be discussed. No food, drinks, candy or gum will be permitted in the dance area.

Class Placement & Levels
Students are under observation by their teachers.  Students are not moved to the next level according to the amount of years that they have studied dance. They must be able to execute proper technique to the fullest for that level. Once the teacher has determined that the student is ready to move up, the director will then move the student to a higher level. Class placement is at the discretion of the teacher/director. Some students may take longer to progress than others, according to natural ability, effort, and practice. We offer a variety of classes for all ages & levels. No matter your skill level or goals with dance, you will have a place here at Triple Essence.

Inclement Weather
Our studio will follow the New York City public school cancellation policy In the event of bad weather conditions. If public schools are closed due to snow the dance studio will also be closed. Emails will be sent to families through our online system if the studio is closed. Please also check our website & social media before your class for cancellation updates/postings.

Cancellation of Class Services
Cancellation of class services must be received in writing or you will be charged up to that point.
